Pagal Haina is an artist development agency and record label dedicated to nurturing, managing, and promoting independent artists from India. We work across music releases, branding, live projects, collaborations, and digital content, supporting artists from concept to execution.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of an end-to-end album release campaign for one artist on our roster. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and execution, ensuring the album rollout is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the artist’s creative vision.

The ideal candidate understands creative and release workflows, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can confidently manage diverse stakeholders including artists, management, producers, designers, vendors, and internal teams throughout the lifecycle of an album campaign.

Key Responsibilities
 

Project Planning & Execution

  • Plan, manage, and deliver a comprehensive album release campaign including music releases, marketing campaigns, live events, brand collaborations, and content production

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets

  • Track progress, identify risks, and ensure deadlines are met

Artist & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a central point of communication between artist, management, and internal/external teams

  • Coordinate schedules, deliverables, and approvals

  • Ensure artist needs and creative vision are balanced with operational requirements

Operational Management

  • Manage contracts, documentation, and project records

  • Coordinate with vendors, studios, agencies, and freelancers

  • Support release planning, rollout schedules, and promotional activities

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Provide regular project updates and reports to management

  • Monitor performance and suggest improvements to workflows and systems

  • Help standardise project management processes

Key Selection Criteria

Essential Requirements

  • 2-4 years of project management experience, preferably within music, media, entertainment, or other creative industries

  • Marketing experience, with a strong understanding of campaign planning, digital and social marketing, content rollouts, and release-driven promotional strategies

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage aspects of a campaign simultaneously

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven stakeholder and supplier management experience

  • High level of execution with strong follow-through on responsibilities

  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team environment

  • Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail and sound judgement

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Notion, Trello, Asana, Monday, or similar platforms

  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant database systems

  • Brings ideas, adds value, and contributes to continuous improvement of processes

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours in a fast-paced, creative environment

Desirable:

  • Experience working with artists, record labels, talent agencies, or creative studios

  • Understanding of music release cycles, digital platforms, and marketing campaigns

  • Budget management experience

  • Passion for music and creative culture
